Adulting 101: Navigating the Airport and “Practice Flight” at DTW (Ages 15+) FULL
This event is FULL
Join us for a hands-on airport experience designed to build comfort and confidence with air travel! Each participant must attend with a parent or guardian. During This Session, We’ll:
- Meet at the McNamara Parking Deck (parking covered)
- Take the airport shuttle
- Go through a real TSA screening
- Ride the Tram
- Visit the Sensory Room
- Walk through the long hallway with lights turned off for a sensory-friendly option
- Finish with a Delta-led “practice flight” experience
Please Bring:
An ID or passport for TSA precheck.

Parking will be validated by DTW please park in either long term or short term parking and bring your ticket to our tour guides so they can validate your parking.
We will be meeting on the 6th floor so after parking please take the elevator to floor 6 and we will meet right outside the elevator
