  • July 1 – Mobile Sensory Bus at the Italian Bowl
  • July 8 – City of Toledo – Disabled and Proud Festival  – The 2023 Disabled and Proud Fest on July 8th welcomes those of all abilities to celebrate the disability experience in Toledo! An all-day event with fun activities, DJ, food trucks, and an all-abilities 3 vs. 3 wheelchair basketball tournament for youth and adults!

All Month Long!

    • Toledo Museum of Art: Celebrate Disability Pride Month by celebrating disability inclusion in museums! Check out accessible exhibits and installations like Expanding Horizons: The Evolving Character of a Nation and Black Orpheus: Jacob Lawrence and the Mbari Club. Or participate in a Touch Tour, where visitors who are blind or low-vision can interact with artwork in Toledo Museum of Art’s collection through the sense of touch. You can also read the book “Awesomely Emma” by Amy Webb, which follows young wheelchair user, Emma, on her journey of advocacy to make her local art museum more accessible!
