Sensory Bus Provides Calming Space at Italian Bowl
A Mobile Sensory Bus will provide an inclusive experience for families visiting activities surrounding the Italian Bowl on July 1 in coordination with The Ability Center and generous donor, Susan Conda.
The bus, located in front of the Rocket in Lot 10 from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. will offer a safe and calming space for individuals with sensory processing disorders, such as autism. The bus serves as a peaceful retreat, allowing kids to recharge their energy and regain their focus – to re-engage in the activity or event.
Game entry not needed to enter the bus; guests from the Night Market welcome.
WHO: The Ability Center in partnership with generous donor, Susan Conda.
The bus will be staffed with professionals from the Inclusioneers and Summit County Developmental Disabilities Board
