Join our NEW DREAM Book Club!
Our first book is a mystery page turner, “Fortune Favors the Dead” by Stephen Spotswood. In this fiction story, Willowjean “Will” Parker is the scrappy assistant to Lillian Pentecost. Lillian Pentecost is a detective with multiple sclerosis and with Will’s support they work to solve crimes in New York City. When socialite Abigail Collins is found murdered by crystal ball at the Halloween Party, the partners must navigate the seedy underworld of the uber wealthy, spiritualists, and factories of 1942’s New York City.
We will meet monthly to discuss the book, share our thoughts and have some laughs.
Books will be provided by the Ability Center or you can rent it from your local library.
